Meet Sheila

Sheila Bury is an experienced, CIMA qualified finance professional ready to help UK businesses maximise their performance.

As a qualified management accountant (ACMA) with experience working in both multinational companies and owner-managed businesses, she knows that the one thing in common is the need for timely, accurate and understandable information.  To get a sound understanding of the finances, management information needs to be clearly presented, uncomplicated and free from unnecessary jargon.

Sheila set up Cotbury Consultancy to utilise her financial reporting skills within flexible working hours to provide professional, commercial and cost effective Finance Business Partnering support whilst maintaining a busy family life.

When Sheila is not busy generating spreadsheets she can often be found standing next to a hockey or rugby pitch watching her three sons, taking long walks up on the Ridgeway with her spaniels or industriously digging weeds in the garden.  She has recently completed a Neuroscience MSc at UCL and will happily converse with you about Parkinsons, Alzheimers and all other neuron related subjects (please ask her about the glymphatic system!).
